Valorant is not a game for those who are new to shooting games, and we would even say it’s best left for those who have been playing FPS titles ever since they were a kid! Valorant made its mark on the industry this year by claiming to reward skill over everything else, and it seems like they’ve certainly done that – people who play the game will understand how satisfying it is to quickly jump around a corner and shoot an opponent’s skull off.

The reason for this is that Riot Games is going to work on further optimizing the game’s engine so that it’s easier to update and implement bug fixes. The next patch for Valorant was meant to be Patch 2.10, but it has been delayed and its changes have instead been pushed back to Patch 2.11. For example, all of the weapons have been changed so that they can be more balanced with one another, and the agents have also been rebalanced so that their abilities don’t make one a meta pick over the other. Valorant’s patch 3.00 has introduced a new agent to the game: KAY/O, though the patch has also seen some additional balance changes. The calculations used to counter clipping have been reworked so that clipping will be less common, though don’t expect it to be entirely eliminated.

The most recent update for Valorant has mainly been focused on improving the game’s inner workings so that it looks better. One of the more notable changes involves how performance stats are tracked, including your computer’s memory usage and packet loss. Valorant’s devs have been doing an excellent job of keeping the game updated, and with the release of Patch 3.04, there have been some marked changes to the game.
